Three saddle tank industrial locomotives operated by the Denton Colliery Co Ltd are known. They were used to transport coal from Denton Colliery and Great Wood Pit to Denton Colliery Sidings at North Reddish where there was a connection to the London & North Western Railway (Stockport & Guide Bridge Line).
